  This information is based on my experience and my opinions. Your milage may vary. EOTech and Aimpoint are the two big names in red dot sights. Here’s a short nontechnical comparison of the two. Durability: Both sights have been deemed rugged enough for the military. The Aimpoint is generally considered to be more resistant to abuse and hard knocks.
